ABOUT

Project Pink was established in 2011, as an independent branch to help raise awareness and resources within the Bermudian community for Breast Cancer. In mid-2019, Project Pink was given charity status (#1008) and thus provided a wider platform for the continued engagement and efforts of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Under the auspices of Ultimate Imaging Limited (ultimateimaging.bm), and partnering with researchers internationally, our combined commitment continued in regards to the comprehensive understanding and fundamental goal of plausible ‘prevention’. Notwithstanding, our efforts have also focused on the care and support of those in our community who have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It is our goal to cross racial, socio-economic, religious, cultural and demographic lines to be fully inclusive.

We believe that awareness is the best way to reduce breast cancer incidence in Bermuda. In order to do this we invest in educational campaigns that are based on cutting-edge, interdisciplinary research that not only harness the findings but forge collaborations with the world’s foremost breast cancer researchers. We endeavour to revolve around: Breast cancer preventative programs, participation in breast cancer epidemiology and prevention research, fundraising and support.

Our partnership with Ultimate Imaging merges a strong commitment to not only a corporate social responsibility but a community responsibility as well.
